About This Role
Permanent professional-level Chief Ground Instructor position with Airbus India Training Centre, the Airbus and Air India joint venture operating in Gurugram, Haryana. The CGI reports directly to the Head of Training and is responsible for supervising and standardising ground instructors, delivering theoretical knowledge training, administering system knowledge tests, supporting instructor recruitment, and maintaining the Training Procedures Manual in accordance with Airbus Training standards and DGCA regulations. The centre is being developed to provide A320 and A350 flight training, although the posting does not assign a specific aircraft family to this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Chief Ground Instructor reports directly to the Head of Training.
- The role supervises and standardises ground instructors by ensuring that they meet Airbus Training and DGCA competency requirements and that all relevant training and standardisation forms are completed under the applicable procedures.
- The CGI conducts theoretical knowledge training sessions in accordance with the training programme, conducts system knowledge tests in line with examination procedures, convenes and documents interviews when performance is below standard, records the required follow-up actions, provides guidance for instructor recruitment and selection, and maintains the Training Procedures Manual in compliance with Airbus Manuals and DGCA Regulations.

Requirements
