As a Check Instructor with North Star Aviation, you will ensure safe flight practices and maintain high training standards through stage checks and lesson observations. This role involves mentoring students, collaborating with instructors, and upholding compliance with FARs and company policy. Ideal candidates hold CFI, CFII, MEI certifications, possess an unblemished flight record, and demonstrate strong evaluation and debriefing skills.
Requirements
- Must hold CFI certificate
- Must hold CFI-I certificate
- Must hold MEI certificate
- Meet pilot-in-command recent flight experience requirements of FAR 61.57
- Able to comply with NSA Flight Operations Manual and FAR 141.37
- Possess unblemished flight record
- Able to perform evaluation and debrief skills
- Able to relate to instructors and students
- Strong consideration given to candidates with substantial dual given hours and a high number of students instructed in Private, Instrument, Commercial, and Instructor Part 61 and 141 TCOs
