About This Role
NetJets is recruiting type-rated Challenger 650 (CL605/650) pilots for PIC and SIC assignments through the Oxford, United Kingdom gateway (EGTK). The role is centered on Aircraft Commander responsibilities: safe and efficient operation, independent navigation and terrain-clearance monitoring, completion of flight procedures and checklists, safety and airworthiness reporting, and consistently strong customer service. The vacancy lists 3,000 hours of flight time for PIC and 1,500 hours for SIC, plus a full EASA ATPL with appropriate type ratings, a European Union Class 1 medical, extensive global flight experience, commercial aviation experience and fluent English.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as Pilot in Command and carry out all Aircraft Commander duties to ensure the safety of all flights and passengers in accordance with the aircraft Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures and applicable legislation.
- Focus on safe and efficient flight operations under company procedures, and confirm safe navigation through a continuous, independent check of the aircraft's geographical position and terrain clearance.
- Complete all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the Airplane Flight Manual and Operations Manuals and as determined by the commander of the flight.
- Report any occurrence or incident that has endangered or may have endangered safety, together with any fault, failure, malfunction or defect believed to affect the aeroplane's airworthiness or safe operation.
- Provide the best possible customer service at all times, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- Minimum flight-time thresholds are role-specific: the PIC position requires 3,000 hours of flight time, while the SIC position requires 1,500 hours.
- A type rating on the CL605/650 is explicitly required.
- The listed qualifications include a full EASA ATPL with appropriate type ratings and a European Union Class 1 medical.
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent performance, extensive global flight experience, a strong commercial aviation background and fluency in English, preferably at level 6.
- Experience in a EUOPS and/or AIROPS environment is an advantage, as is military or airline training.
- The base gateway is Oxford, United Kingdom (EGTK).
