About This Role
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and NetJets subsidiary, is recruiting a Captain/Pilot in Command for a Challenger 605 based at Boca Raton, FL (KBCT). EJM presents the role within its aircraft management and worldwide jet charter operation, with safety, service, and integrity as core principles. The account serves a seasoned aircraft owner whose decades of ownership have historically involved mostly domestic operations. It is described as a two-pilot account supported by a Maintenance Technician flying Part 135. The PIC has final responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation and must combine flight planning, risk management, SOP and regulatory compliance, crew coordination, and passenger service with continuing training, recency, SMS compliance, and safety reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As Pilot in Command, ensure that crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements
- complete flight planning, performance, and weight-and-balance tasks for each assignment
- lead required briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks
- follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel
- and act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator under company policy. Complete all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including checking maintenance status, to ensure that the aircraft is mission-capable
- record discrepancies under company SOPs
- monitor and ensure that fueling, oil, oxygen, and other ground servicing are accomplished
- and complete passenger briefings in accordance with policy and regulation. Deliver a high level of customer service, accommodate special passenger needs such as physical challenges, and use Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations. Provide quality service to owners and passengers, identify opportunities to improve the EJM service experience, investigate and resolve service deviations, collaborate with crew members and internal EJM partners, and resolve conflicts and challenges appropriately. Maintain required regulatory and company training and recency of experience, comply with the company SMS program, and report safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels. Requirements
- The position calls for 4–6 years of experience.

- Prior corporate/business aviation experience is preferred.
- The KSAOs list an FAA type rating in the applicable fleet, and candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum flight-time requirements are 3,500 hours of total flight time, 1,500 hours of Multi-Engine Land (MEL), 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), 500 hours PIC MEL, 300 hours of instrument time, and 500 hours of jet time.
