About This Role
DuBois Aviation is hiring CFII and MEI flight instructors for advanced flight instruction at Chino Airport in Chino, California. Instructors teach instrument, commercial and/or multi-engine students across the school's training fleet, delivering both flight and ground instruction and building students' aeronautical decision-making, instrument procedures and practical-test readiness. The role also covers accurate training records, endorsements, preflight briefings and postflight reviews, plus professional coordination with dispatch, maintenance and the other instructors. The posting gives priority consideration to qualified CFII and MEI applicants and notes that recent full-time instructors have commonly gained roughly 800 to 1,200 hours in a year, varying with student demand, availability, weather and scheduling. On-site position at Chino Airport; compensation, availability and scheduling are discussed individually with qualified applicants.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide instrument, commercial, and/or multi-engine flight and ground instruction.
- Develop sound aeronautical decision-making, instrument procedures, and practical-test readiness.
- Complete accurate training records, endorsements, preflight briefings, and postflight reviews.
- Coordinate professionally with dispatch, maintenance, and other instructors.
Requirements
- FAA flight instructor certificate with the privileges required for the instruction you provide.
- At least 350 hours of total flight time.
- Professional communication, dependable availability, and a safety-first approach.
- Ability to commute to Chino Airport for scheduled flight and ground instruction.
- Preferred experience: Current CFII and/or MEI privileges.
- Piper PA-23 experience for multi-engine applicants.
- Piper PA-28 or Mooney experience for instrument and commercial instruction.
