About This Role
Flight Level Services, a Part 135 on-demand air charter operator based in Danville, Kentucky (DVK), is seeking a Cessna Citation M2 Captain to join its air charter team. The role operates the Citation M2 in a dynamic, on-demand environment with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and superior customer service. Candidates need an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate, a current FAA First Class Medical, a minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, and either a Citation 525S type rating or significant recent M2 experience (250+ hours). Previous Part 135 or corporate aviation experience is preferred. Compensation ranges from $100k–$145k. Applicants must live within a 2-hour commute of Danville, KY.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate the Citation M2 in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and Part 135 requirements
- Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures, including aircraft inspections and documentation
- Ensure flight planning, weather analysis, fuel requirements, and risk assessments are completed accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience
- Maintain effective communication with dispatch, maintenance personnel, and company leadership
- Ensure aircraft cleanliness, readiness, and proper stocking for each flight
- Complete all required reports, logs, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in ongoing training, proficiency checks, and safety programs
- Exercise sound judgment and decision-making in all phases of flight operations
Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time
- Citation 525S type rating, or significant recent similar experience in the M2 (250+ hours)
- Valid U.S. driver's license and passport
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must live within a 2-hour commute of Danville, KY (DVK)
- Preferred: Previous Part 135 or corporate aviation experience
