About This Role
Bridgewater State University Aviation/Flight Operations is hiring a Certified Flight Instructor for its year-round flight-training operation at New Bedford Regional Airport. The instructor will support single- and multi-engine Part 141 and Part 61 training through flight, simulator, and ground instruction while following BSU and FAA procedures and delivering safe, accurate, student-focused training.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide flight, simulator, and ground instruction in accordance with the Bridgewater State University flight-training program and FAA policies and procedures.
- Comply with all applicable BSU and FAA regulations to ensure the highest quality of training for assigned students in each flight course.

Requirements
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor credentials for Airplane Single Engine Land and Instrument Airplane
- a current, valid FAA Medical Certificate without limitations that prevent flight-training activity

Preferred Qualifications
- in-depth knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and BSU administrative and operational policies and procedures. The application resume must document the FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and flight-instructor certificate numbers, total PIC time by ASEL, AMEL, and other categories, dual given, aircraft experience, instrument time, night PIC, PIC in TAA, and student FAA practical-test pass rate.
