About This Role
Jet Access is hiring a typed and current CE-560XL Captain in Nashville, Tennessee (KJWN) for its private aviation operation. The Captain serves as the final authority on every flight and exercises operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations, combining safe, compliant Part 135 and Part 91 flying with premium service for aircraft owners and passengers. The role includes leading First Officers, maintaining aircraft and regulatory readiness, coordinating with maintenance and operations, handling domestic and international trips, and contributing to safety, standardization, mentoring, and company growth. The schedule is a three-crew rotation of ten days on/five days off, with flexibility expected.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the assigned aircraft in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual, company policies, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, exercising operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations and retaining final authority over all flight decisions. Lead and mentor assigned First Officers, promote crew cohesion and sound aeronautical decision-making, maintain current proficiency and type competency, complete recurrent training within required timelines, and enforce flight and duty time limits, rest requirements, and fatigue-risk-management standards. Deliver premium service to aircraft owners and passengers, represent Jet Access professionally, coordinate itinerary changes and special client needs with the Operations Control Center, conduct thorough passenger briefings, and build lasting client relationships throughout each trip. Review flight and maintenance logs before departure, verify airworthiness and inspections, ensure servicing is completed, check that manuals, charts, and required equipment are current and serviceable, document engine-trend and maintenance observations, and coordinate discrepancy-driven or required maintenance with the Maintenance Department. Complete flight, aircraft, and passenger records accurately and on time

Participate in safety management system initiatives, continuous improvement, fleet standardization, training-program development, mentoring, company and industry events, client-facing engagements, ongoing FAA, ICAO, and international regulatory development, and special projects supporting Jet Access's growth.

Requirements
- The advertised seat is specifically typed and current on the CE-560XL. Required qualifications include an ATP Certificate, a current First-Class Medical Certificate, 3,000 hours of total flight time, 1,500 hours of total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, 500 hours of Multi-Engine PIC time, 250 hours of PIC time in type, and 250 hours of Turbine PIC time. Candidates must have completed initial or recurrent training in the required aircraft type within the preceding 12 months and have working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations. A valid state driver's license and passport are required, along with the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
