About This Role
Carson Air is seeking an experienced Captain to operate Metroliner turbine-powered, pressurized aircraft on cargo operations in Western Canada, based in Calgary. The company has provided uninterrupted essential services for over 30 years and is known for excellence in safety, maintenance, and flight operations. Candidates must have a Commercial Pilot License with Multi-Engine IFR rating (ATPL preferred), minimum 1500 total hours, 500 hours multi-engine time, and 250 hours multi-engine PIC. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Metroliner aircraft on cargo flights in Western Canada
- Assume overall responsibility for safe, efficient and timely aircraft operations
- Supervise First Officer according to all prescribed regulations
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company expectations
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and briefings
- Manage multi-engine, instrument weather, and mountain operations
- Hand-fly aircraft and maintain proficiency in multi-crew operations

Requirements
- Commercial Pilot License with Multi-Engine IFR rating
- ATPL preferred
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time (preferred)
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine flight time (preferred)
- Minimum 250 hours multi-engine PIC (preferred)
- IATRA or ATPL written exams
- No Transport Canada violations or suspensions
- Metroliner experience preferred
- Aviation diploma preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer skills and familiarity with Internet
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Valid medical certificate (implied)
- Willing to sign Training Bond Agreement if no current SW4 type rating
