About This Role
Vista America is hiring a permanent, full-time, home-based Captain for the CL300/350 in the United States. The Captain will combine flight-deck leadership with problem-solving, brand ambassadorship, and iconic luxury service for passengers while working within a global team and reporting to the Flight Operations Manager. The package includes Year 1 guaranteed base pay of $195,000, potential total compensation of $247,825, and a stable 15/13 schedule, with opportunities to progress to larger aircraft and leadership roles. Applicants must meet the CL30 experience minimums, hold a current First Class Medical Certificate, maintain the stated recent flight time, and have U.S. work and travel authorization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Vista America expects the Captain to push the boundaries of service and excellence, act as a strong problem solver and brand ambassador, and be ready to lend a helping hand.
- The Captain provides iconic, luxury service to passengers and reports to the Flight Operations Manager.
- The role is supported by a global team, 24/7/365 access to pilot leadership, the chief pilot, FOMs and DOs, and day-to-day and flight-to-flight support from the Operational Control Center.
- Captains can progress through the fleet to larger aircraft and leadership opportunities while retaining their seniority number and remaining with one entity.
What We Offer
Vista America offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus for typed and current direct-entry CL30 Captains.Pay and allowances include Year 1 guaranteed base pay of $195,000, total compensation potential of $247,825, extra-day pay, a monthly flight-hour bonus, paid training days, per diem of $75/$120 per day for domestic and international days, and a choice of vacation time in addition to the 15/13 schedule or a $10,000 in-lieu-of-vacation bonus.Quality-of-life provisions include home basing, a stable 15/13 schedule arranged 12 months in advance, training scheduled six months ahead, fleet progression with seniority retained, and 24/7/365 pilot leadership and Operational Control Center support.The package also includes a safety-management system and Just Culture with safety managers and fleet coordinators, a fatigue-management program, training investment above FAA and industry requirements, mobile-response maintenance teams, an aircraft-refurbishment program and team, hotel and travel points, positive-space seats and travel on the first and last day of the schedule, premium health, dental and vision programs, a company-provided phone, credit card and uniform, and a 401(k) with company match and no vesting period.
Requirements
- CL30 minimums require an ATP-rated PIC with a jet type rating, with Challenger preferred
- 3,000 hours of fixed-wing time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours multi-engine, 1,000 hours turbine, and 300 hours of logged IFR. Applicants must hold a current First Class Medical Certificate
- have no accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions in the last five years
- meet ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 requirements for aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot
- be authorized to work in the United States
- and be authorized to travel to and from all cities and countries served. The posting also requires 150 hours of flight time in the previous 365 days and 30 hours in the previous 90 days.
