About This Role
Hawker 900/900XP Captain (PIC) for a Part 91 corporate flight operations department based at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK), Atlanta, GA. The PIC ensures safe, efficient operation of company aircraft per FAA regulations and company policy, reporting to the Chief Pilot / Assistant Chief Pilot. Duties & Responsibilities
- Directs daily operations to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
- Makes hiring recommendations, trains staff, and evaluates performance.
- Develops Training Course Outlines, Training Manuals and Procedures.
- Monitors pilot proficiency and currency.
- Monitors FAA 141 required 80% pass rate.
- Certifies each student's training record, stage check and end-of-course test reports, and recommendation for course completion.
- Ensures certificated flight and ground instructors pass initial and recurrent proficiency checks.
- Ensures students accomplish required stage checks and end-of-course tests.
- Audits flight training records regularly.
- Supervises assigned Flight Instructors.
Requirements
- Total Time: 2,500 hours
- PIC: 750 hours
- Turbine PIC: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 750 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 750 hours
- Commercial MEL or ATP MEL (ability to obtain ATP)
- 1st Class Medical
- Restricted Radio License
- Current passport; proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
- Pass pre-employment + random drug/alcohol testing
