About This Role
Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain to command Gulfstream G600/G800 aircraft in an elite private aviation environment based in Teterboro, New Jersey. The Captain has full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of assigned aircraft, leads a professional crew, manages domestic and worldwide routes, adapts to changing operational conditions, and delivers a discreet, high-quality experience for private aviation clients. The role combines flight leadership, regulatory and security compliance, operational documentation, and service-focused representation of the Jet Aviation brand.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain takes command of all assigned flights and makes critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Duties include maintaining complete working knowledge of aircraft systems, operating with precision, managing flight plans, adapting to changing conditions, and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
- The Captain performs the functions of the TSA In-Flight Security Coordinator under the applicable Twelve-Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program, conducts required passenger safety briefings or assigns them to the second in command, supports open communication about safety issues, reports hazards, and maintains a secure operating environment.
- The role also requires recording and reporting aircraft discrepancies as they occur, managing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, completing accurate trip paperwork in accordance with company procedures, and representing Jet Aviation through professional, service-oriented conduct as a brand ambassador.
- The position includes worldwide travel and delivery of exceptional service to clients and colleagues.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and an FAA First Class Medical. The required experience is 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours of Multi-Engine time, 500 hours of Turbo-Jet time, 500 hours of Turbine time, 100 hours of Night time, and 75 hours of Simulated Instrument time. Candidates must be able to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles and must be willing to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions. A high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record are required. Additional qualifications include strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
