Jet Aviation is seeking a Gulfstream 600 Captain in Santa Ana, California, for an elite private-aviation operation. The Captain assumes full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft, leads a professional crew, manages domestic and global routes, adapts to changing conditions, and delivers discreet, high-quality service to discerning clients. The role combines flight-deck leadership with rigorous safety, security and compliance oversight and requires the Captain to represent Jet Aviation as a trusted brand ambassador committed to trust, honesty, alignment, transparency and operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As Captain, take command of all assigned flights and make critical decisions that keep operations safe and compliant with federal, local and company regulations.
- Maintain complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, operate with precision, manage flight plans and adapt to changing conditions to provide a seamless travel experience.
- Perform the TSA In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) functions under the applicable Twelve-Five standard security program or private charter standard security program.
- Conduct required passenger safety briefings or assign them to the second in command, support open communication on safety issues, report hazards and uphold a secure operating environment.
- Record and report aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals and accurate trip paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
- Travel globally to deliver exceptional service and represent Jet Aviation professionally as the face of the brand.

Requirements
- Required qualifications are an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical, plus 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of turbo-jet time, 500 hours of turbine time, 100 hours of night time, and 75 hours of simulated instrument time.
- The Captain must be able to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles, travel extensively worldwide without restrictions, hold a high school diploma, and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Physical and environmental expectations include regular use of the hands and periods of standing, walking and sitting, occasional climbing, kneeling or crouching, frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds including overhead lifting, and sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
- The work may take place in heavy-maintenance areas and upscale customer spaces around aircraft arrivals and departures, with possible noise, vibration, fuel fumes, changing weather and seasonal temperature extremes in hangars.
