About This Role
Captain position on the Gulfstream 550 with Jet Aviation, an elite private/business aviation operator, based in Opa Locka, FL. The Captain takes full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft across domestic and global routes, leads the crew, and serves discerning clientele. Anticipated salary range $260,000 to $270,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Perform the functions of the TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC), conduct passenger safety briefings, and report hazards and aircraft discrepancies.
- Manage trip documentation and paperwork and represent the Jet Aviation brand.
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical required. 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night and 75 hours Simulated Instrument. Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency. High school diploma required
- valid driver license with a clean driving record. College degree preferred.
