About This Role
Captain role at Jet Aviation flying the Gulfstream 550 out of Farmingdale, New York in a private/corporate aviation operation. The Captain takes full command responsibility for safe and efficient flight operations on domestic and global routes, leads the crew, acts as TSA Flight Security Coordinator, and delivers a high-end experience for private clientele. Anticipated salary range $275,000-$300,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Perform the functions of the TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the twelve five standard security program or private charter standard security program.
- Conduct required passenger safety briefings or assign that duty to the second in command.
- Record and report all aircraft discrepancies.
- Manage trip documentation and maintain aircraft manuals.
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical required.
- Proven Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
- High school diploma required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Appropriate Aircraft type rating and currency (set-you-apart).
- College degree preferred.
