About This Role
Jet Aviation is seeking a Gulfstream 450 Captain for its Dulles, Virginia operation. The Captain will assume full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, lead a professional crew, operate domestic and international missions, adapt to changing conditions, and deliver discreet, high-quality service to private aviation clients. The role combines command responsibility, operational excellence, security and regulatory compliance, administrative accuracy, and global travel while representing Jet Aviation as a trusted brand ambassador.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain will command all assigned flights and make critical operational decisions to ensure compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Responsibilities include maintaining complete working knowledge of Gulfstream 450 systems, operating the aircraft precisely, managing flight plans, adapting to changing conditions, and ensuring a safe and seamless travel experience.
- The Captain will perform the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator under the applicable twelve five standard security program or private charter standard security program, conduct required passenger safety briefings or delegate them to the second in command, support open communication about safety issues, report hazards, and maintain a secure operating environment.
- The role also requires recording and reporting aircraft discrepancies, managing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, completing accurate trip paperwork in accordance with company procedures, and representing Jet Aviation with professionalism and exceptional service.
- The work may involve aircraft arrivals and departures, heavy maintenance areas, customer-facing environments, changing weather, seasonal temperature extremes, noise, vibration, fuel fumes, and frequent global travel.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
- Required flight experience includes 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of turbo-jet time, 500 hours of turbine time, 100 hours of night time, and 75 hours of simulated instrument time.
- Candidates must be able to work a variable schedule based on flight mission profiles, travel extensively worldwide without restrictions, hold a high school diploma, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
