About This Role
Jet Aviation seeks a Gulfstream 450 captain in Dulles for private aviation missions. The captain leads the crew, operates domestic and international trips, manages flight safety and compliance, and handles trip documentation and aircraft discrepancies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Conduct the required passenger safety briefings or assign that duty to the second in command.
- Record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures.
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical required Proven Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night and 75 hours Simulated Instrument Flexibility: Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
- Global Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
- Additional Credentials: Appropriate Aircraft type rating and currency
