About This Role
GlobalX is hiring full-time Captains to lead safe, efficient, and timely aircraft operations from Miami, Harlingen, Alexandria, or Mesa. The role combines command responsibility with safety leadership, collaborative one-crew teamwork, customer-focused communication, and the expectation that pilots build loyalty and trust through respectful and authentic interactions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Captains are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and for the safety of crew and passengers.
- They are responsible for aircraft airworthiness, weather factors affecting the flight, applicable flight regulations, and air traffic control procedures.
- Captains must use all tools and aids intended to maximize safety in the air and on the ground and demonstrate ownership of safety in every aspect of their responsibilities, performance, and behavior to ensure the successful outcome of every flight.
- The role also calls for leadership, teamwork, a humble one-crew approach, and direct, authentic communication with customers in support of loyalty and trust.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an FAA Airmen Certificate, an FAA First Class Medical Certificate, and a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s permit. An Airbus A320 type rating is preferred. Candidates must meet the requirements of FAR 121.436 and have at least 4,000 hours of total flight time, together with either 1,000 jet hours as Pilot in Command under a 121 certificate or 1,500 jet hours as Pilot in Command under a 135 certificate. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship, be able to maintain a valid passport, and be able to travel without restriction to and from the United States. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required. The physical demands include regularly talking or hearing, frequently standing, walking, handling or feeling objects, and reaching with the hands and arms
- occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- frequently lifting or moving up to 10 pounds
- and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, along with the ability to adjust focus, are also required.
