About This Role
Chartright Air Group, a Canadian business-aviation company offering private jet charter, turn-key aircraft management, aircraft maintenance and FBO services, is hiring a Captain for its Bombardier Global 8000 based in Toronto (YYZ). The pilot commands the Global 8000 as part of a dedicated three-pilot crew, conducts domestic and international missions safely, supports daily operations on available reserve days, and delivers a personalized, high-touch experience to charter clients. The role suits a senior jet captain with extensive international experience, strong flight-management-systems knowledge and deep familiarity with Canadian aviation regulations, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-driven and safety-focused operation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as Captain of the Global 8000 in Toronto as part of a dedicated three-pilot crew and ensure every flight is conducted safely.
- Support daily operational activities on available reserve days and liaise with Chartright's Flight Coordination Centre and Sales team so that all operational and service requirements are delivered.
- Provide direct customer service to clients to contribute to an exceptional client experience, foster a collaborative environment where colleagues can share ideas and solutions, complete monthly training courses, and perform other duties as required.

Requirements
- Hold a Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or a valid IATRA, a Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating, a valid Transport Canada medical certificate and a Canadian Radiotelephone Operator's licence.
- A minimum of 8,000 hours total flight time and a minimum of 5,000 hours jet pilot-in-command are required.
- A Global type rating is considered an asset and previous time on type is preferred.
- Previous international flying experience (Europe and South America) is required, together with hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
- Candidates need a strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight-plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance, plus expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication, exceptional client-service, organizational and prioritization skills, the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and the flexibility to work a variable schedule to support client needs are also required.
