Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain for a Global 7500 based in San Diego, operating in an elite private-aviation environment. The Captain has full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, leads a professional crew, manages domestic and worldwide missions, adapts to changing conditions, and delivers discreet, high-quality service to clients. The position combines flight-deck leadership with safety and regulatory compliance, aircraft-systems expertise, security coordination, flight-plan management, trip documentation, and brand representation. It is suited to an aviator who values precision, operational excellence, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Command all assigned flights and make critical decisions to ensure safe operations and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain complete working knowledge of the Global 7500's aircraft systems, operate the aircraft precisely, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions to provide a seamless travel experience.
- Perform the functions of the TSA Flight Security Coordinator under the applicable twelve-five standard security program or private charter standard security program.
- Conduct required passenger safety briefings or delegate them to the second in command.
- Promote open communication about safety issues, report hazards, support a secure operating environment, and record and report aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
- Represent Jet Aviation as a professional brand ambassador while delivering exceptional service to customers and colleagues on domestic and global missions.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, FAA First Class Medical, 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time, 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of turbojet time, 500 hours of turbine time, 100 hours of night time, and 75 hours of simulated instrument time. Candidates must be able to work a variable schedule aligned with flight missions, travel extensively worldwide without restrictions, hold a high school diploma, and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
