About This Role
Prime Jet (private jet charter / corporate operator) is hiring a Captain (GIV Pilot-in-Command) to lead flight operations on its private jet fleet. The PIC has ultimate responsibility for flight safety, mentors flight crew, plans and executes flights, and ensures FAA regulatory compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command with ultimate responsibility for the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft.
- Lead and mentor flight crew while fostering effective Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- Plan and execute flights, including weather, routing, fuel, and aircraft performance.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and oversee all phases of flight operations.
- Communicate with air traffic control, ground personnel, and passengers.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Complete post-flight documentation and reports while maintaining operational excellence.
Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate required.
- GIV/GV type rating required or applicable experience.
- Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and corporate flight operations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, overnight travel, and on-demand operations.
