About This Role
Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Gulfstream G800 Captain for its flight operations team in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The role involves commanding an ultra-long-range business jet on extensive international and VIP operations, with approximately 250 flight hours per year expected. The Captain will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, crew, passengers and cargo, while coordinating with the Director of Flight Operations, flight crew and cabin crew and delivering discreet, exceptional VIP service. The work may involve heavy-maintenance and upscale customer areas, variable noise, vibration, occasional fuel fumes, all weather conditions, and seasonal temperature extremes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, crew, passengers and cargo.
- Conduct every flight in accordance with the company Operations Manual, SOPs, applicable regulations and industry best practices.
- Exercise sound command judgment, maintain the highest standards of flight safety and operational discipline, and ensure that all checklists, procedures and operational requirements are followed.
- Maintain precise navigation and compliance with minimum altitudes, aircraft limitations and operating procedures.
- Manage fuel planning and maintain adequate reserves throughout each flight.
- Coordinate and effectively manage the flight crew to ensure excellent CRM and airmanship, and work closely with the cabin crew so that cabin-safety and passenger requirements are met.
- Provide appropriate passenger safety briefings and ensure emergency equipment and procedures are properly addressed.
- Complete all required flight, technical and operational documentation and logs, and report incidents, occurrences and other operational matters according to company procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of aviation regulations, company procedures and international operating requirements.
- Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism, discretion, appropriate conduct and appearance, and deliver exceptional service to VIP passengers while keeping safety as the highest priority.

Requirements
- The minimum profile requires a valid ATPL, with FAA, UK CAA, EASA or equivalent credentials accepted, together with a Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Candidates must have proven experience as a Captain on business jets or other relevant aircraft.
- Previous Gulfstream experience and strong international and/or VIP aviation experience are strongly preferred.
- A Gulfstream G800 type rating is preferred but not essential, and non-type-rated candidates will be considered.
- The role calls for excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills, a strong understanding of Crew Resource Management (CRM) and modern business aviation operations, and a professional, calm and adaptable approach in a demanding international environment.
- Candidates should be willing to undertake international travel and work flexible schedules.
