About This Role
Aero is seeking an experienced Gulfstream G-IV Captain to join their premium private aviation operation based in Van Nuys, California. Aero is a modern direct-flight service provider that offers premium flights via private terminals, delivering elevated customer experiences. Candidates must have a minimum of 4,000 total flight hours, including 2,000 turbojet hours, 1,500 PIC hours, and 500 hours on the G-IV with at least 250 PIC hours on type, plus FAA ATP license and Part 135/Part 121 experience. Duties & Responsibilities
- Set a high standard for providing customers with safe and reliable travel
- Handle a wide variety of situations while working with team members and customers
- Work independently and as part of a team with limited supervision
- Ensure the safety and comfort of customers
- Provide leadership by responding to emergency and non-emergency situations
- Work in climates and locations across the globe with variable shifts

Requirements
- Valid FAA ATP License
- Gulfstream G-IV Type Rating
- Minimum 4,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 2,000 turbojet hours
- Minimum 1,500 PIC hours
- 500 hours time in type (G-IV) with minimum 250 PIC hours in type
- Minimum 1 year Part 135 and/or Part 121 experience
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- Valid FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Operator Permit
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to travel unrestricted to all Aero destinations
- Valid passport and documentation for international travel
- Pass TSA criminal background checks
- Pass pre-employment drug screening (Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opioids, PCP)
- Excellent communication skills and quick, accurate decision making
- Close attention to detail
- Ability to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to learn and work with PEDs
