About This Role
Bombardier Aerospace is seeking an experienced Captain for its Demonstration Team based in Hartford. This is a unique opportunity to fly various Bombardier business jets (3500/6500/7500) on worldwide demonstration flights, airshows, and sales missions. The role requires an FAA ATP certificate, minimum 3500 total flight hours with 1500 hours on multi-engine turbine aircraft, and a First Class Medical Certificate. Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform duties as Trip Captain when assigned
- Supervise assigned crewmembers during preflight, en-route, and post-flight operations
- Conduct and supervise training of crewmembers on Flight Operations Manual procedures
- Counsel crewmembers and advise Chief Pilot of safety-related abnormalities
- Ensure aircraft is properly secured when away from home base
- Make decisions regarding flight continuation or diversion
- Notify Chief Pilot and Scheduler/Dispatcher of flight changes
- Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws
- Verify aircraft maintenance release and discrepancy clearance
- Coordinate with Chief of Maintenance on maintenance issues
- Conduct unrestricted worldwide flying operations
- Participate in major airshows and events
- Answer performance questions on assigned aircraft for sales purposes
- Acquire second type rating on company products
- Acquire 500 cumulative flying hours on company products
- Attend Bombardier Safety Standdown

Requirements
- Valid FAA ATP Certificate
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Valid FCC Radio Permit
- Minimum 3500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1500 hours multi-engine turbine experience
- Ability for unrestricted worldwide travel with up-to-date immunizations/vaccinations
- Ability to work duty days up to 16 hours
- Ability to work across multiple time zones (up to 12)
- Willing to deploy for up to 16 days
- Flexible and changing schedule availability
- Computer skills (iPad, email, web-based applications)
- Strong interpersonal and planning/organization skills
- CFI/MEI or equivalent instructor experience (preferred)
- International flying experience (preferred)
- Transport Canada ATPL (preferred)
- Transport Canada Category 1 Medical (preferred)
- Type rating in Bombardier aircraft 3500/6500/7500 (preferred)
- Previous demo pilot experience with Bombardier or competitor (preferred)
- Prior Captain experience on Bombardier product (preferred)
