About This Role
Captain (pilot-in-command or second-in-command) for engineering/production test flights at Dassault Falcon Jet's Little Rock (DFJ) completion center. Coordinates with the Flight Test Engineer, Safety Inspectors, and Business Unit personnel on aircraft status, open discrepancies, corrective actions, and timelines; develops and approves flight test procedures for validating corrective actions, certifying modifications, and ensuring aircraft completion. Approx. 200-300 flight hours per year in Experimental and Standard Category aircraft.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Acts as pilot-in-command and second-in-command for DFJ production/completion test flights.
  • Leads and coordinates the flight crew for DFJC production test flights, customer acceptance, ferry, and delivery flights.
  • Assists in Certification Documentation per FAR Parts 21, 25, 91, and EASA/DGAC.
  • Maintains flight test records and navigation charts.
  • Coordinates with business units to ensure aircraft safety.
Requirements
  • FAA Multi-engine ATP pilot's license
  • 2000 hours PIC flight time in fixed wing aircraft
  • 1000 hours PIC flight time in multi-engine turbine aircraft, OR 500 hours flight time in Falcon aircraft, OR 400 hours flight time as SIC within Dassault Falcon Jet Flight Operations
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • current government issued passport
  • at least one of the following PIC type ratings: 2000 EASy (DA-2EASY), 7X (DA7X), 6X (DA6X), or production/maintenance/functional/experimental flight test experience. Desired: Test Pilot School graduate, Aerospace Engineering degree, flight instructor rating.
