About This Role
Constellation Energy, the nation's largest producer of clean and reliable energy, is seeking an experienced Captain to lead flight operations for its corporate aviation program. As a Fortune 500 company with 55 gigawatts of generating capacity, Constellation operates a fleet of business jets to support executive and operational needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of pilot-in-command experience with a valid ATPL and instrument rating, demonstrating strong safety leadership and operational excellence. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with all applicable CFRs, AIM, AFM, and company regulations
  • Supervise copilot/SIC and other crewmembers assigned to trips
  • Maintain primary responsibility for safe transportation of passengers and crew
  • Provide excellent customer service and solutions-focused communication
  • Participate in safety meetings, incident debriefings, and implement safety recommendations
  • Comply with all security protocols and remain prepared to handle emergency situations
  • Maintain working knowledge of Emergency Response Plan and conduct emergency drills
  • Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) compliance and continuous improvement processes
  • Assist Chief Pilot in ensuring flights and crew members adhere to regulations and SOPs
  • Train and evaluate flight crew members, including pilots and operational personnel
  • Provide technical guidance, oversee training programs, and conduct performance evaluations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM for business development activities
  • Implement new technologies and best practices to enhance productivity and safety

Requirements
  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) License
  • Valid Instrument Rating for category of aircraft operated
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as corporate, commercial, or military pilot
  • PIC qualifications on at least one company aircraft type
  • Knowledge of Aviation Operations Manual, Training Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Knowledge of 14 CFR and 49 CFR regulations
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds to shoulder level
  • Type rating for DA-2EASY or G-VII preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
