About This Role
Contour Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain for its Citation XL/XLS fleet. The position is home based in Smyrna, Tennessee, operates under Part 135 On-Demand regulations, and requires strong leadership, professionalism, customer service, and a firm commitment to safe and reliable operations. Captains conduct flight planning, operate the aircraft in compliance with company procedures and regulations, maintain aircraft readiness and passenger comfort, and perform additional duties assigned by station or company leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Place safety above all operational priorities and operate the aircraft in compliance with Part 135 On-Demand regulations.
- Perform all company-assigned duties in accordance with company policies and manuals, conduct preflight planning, and prepare flight plans.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensure the aircraft is clean and ready for passenger comfort and safety, comply with uniform and professional appearance standards, and carry out other duties assigned by station leadership or company management.

Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 23 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, and able to travel internationally without restrictions.
- They must hold a valid U.S.
- Airline Transport Pilot certificate with a CE-560XL Type rating, a current First-Class Medical Certificate, a valid passport, an English Proficiency Endorsement, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Required flight experience is 3,500 hours total time, 2,000 hours Pilot in Command time, 2,000 hours turbine time, and 250 hours Pilot in Command time in type.
- Candidates must pass DOT pre-employment and FAA/company random drug and alcohol testing, TSA-required work history, criminal history, and fingerprint checks.
- The role requires fluent English, professional interpersonal and communication skills, leadership, organization, time management, independent and collaborative work capability, flexible availability for irregular shifts, compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal requirements, the ability to lift 75 pounds, no excessive check ride failures, and no previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus but is not required.
