About This Role
This Captain position operates Cessna 401/402 aircraft under FAA Part 135 operations based in Hyannis, MA. The role reports directly to the Chief Pilot and involves conducting safe and professional flight operations while maintaining vigilance during all phases of flight. Candidates must hold either a Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine and instrument ratings or an ATP license, with a minimum of 1500 total flight hours including 250 PIC hours. The position requires a First Class Medical Certificate, valid passport, and adherence to all FAA regulations and company procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct operations in a safe and professional manner
  • Maintain vigilance during all phases of flight and avoid unnecessary distractions
  • Ensure flight crew is adequately rested and properly dressed
  • Inspect or supervise preflight inspections of aircraft for mechanical and structural soundness
  • Ensure required airworthiness inspections are current and aircraft is equipped for flight
  • Supervise the SIC to ensure proper planning and flight preparation
  • Plan flight assignments and obtain weather and NOTAM briefings
  • Prepare or supervise preparation, filing and closing of flight plans
  • Supervise loading and distribution of cargo, baggage and passengers
  • Determine weight and balance is within prescribed limitations
  • Ensure cargo is properly secured
  • Operate aircraft at safe and favorable altitudes
  • Ensure preparation of flight logs and reporting of mechanical irregularities
  • Maintain professional and businesslike cockpit environment
  • Assist company personnel with loading, unloading and refueling operations as needed
Requirements
  • FAA Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine and instrument ratings OR ATP multi-engine land
  • Minimum 1500 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 250 hours PIC
  • Minimum 500 hours cross-country time
  • Minimum 100 hours night time
  • Minimum 75 hours instrument time
  • Minimum 50 hours multi-engine time
  • Valid First Class Medical Certificate
  • Valid passport required
  • Knowledge of company manuals, FAA Regulations, and Operations Specifications
  • Compliance with FAR 135.265
