About This Role
Korean Air is seeking experienced B787 Captains to join their international fleet on 5-year renewable contracts. The airline is one of Asia's leading carriers operating a modern fleet of wide-body aircraft to destinations worldwide. Candidates must have a minimum of 7000 total flight hours with 2500 hours of PIC airline jet transport time and 1000 hours PIC specifically on the B787. This is a Captain-level position requiring ICAO English Level 5+, recent type experience, and candidates must be under 60 years of age at joining.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate B787 Dreamliner on international scheduled routes
- Command and manage crew on long-haul operations
- Conduct pre-flight planning and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures

Requirements
- Valid ATPL license
- Minimum 7000 total flight hours
- Minimum 2500 hours PIC airline jet transport time

- Less than 60 years of age at date of joining
- Flight on type within last 12 months (or 24 months if current on any other jet transport)
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (implied)
