About This Role
B777 Commander position in Luqa for Challenge Group's cargo operation. The Commander holds full responsibility and authority for flight safety, the aircraft, crew, cargo, supernumeraries, airworthiness decisions, operational compliance, and flight preparation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Commander has the whole responsibility and Authority for the safe conduct of the flight, and the safety of the crew, the airplane, its cargo, and its supernumeraries.
- He must comply with the standing regulations and clearances received from the competent authorities.
- The Commander ensures that operations are conducted in accordance with any restriction on the routes or the areas of operation specified by the competent authority.
- He conducts a crew briefing, relating information and particulars pertinent to the individual flight.
Requirements
- To be employed by CAC as Commander the candidate shall fulfill as minimum: Holds a valid EASA Airline Transport Pilots License in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011
- Medical Certificate Class I
- Holds a valid Instrument Rating (IR)
- 000 hrs total time
- If Type Rated: 2.000 hours PIC on a medium/heavy jet
- 500 hrs on type as Commander or Boeing Heavy Jet. If Non-Type Rated: 6.000 hours total time
- 000 hours PIC on a medium/heavy jet.
