About This Role
Air Atlanta Icelandic, a leading global ACMI and charter operator since 1986, is seeking Non-Type-Rated (NTR) Boeing 777 Captains to join their international operations. This position offers flexibility with multiple rotational schedules (21/14, 21/21, or 24/12 days on/off) and operates from several bases near major international airports. Candidates require a minimum of 5000 total flight hours with 4500 hours on medium to heavy turbo jet aircraft and 1500 hours as Commander. The company provides comprehensive type rating training (approximately 2 months), accommodation, ground and sim hotel, travel arrangements, and payment structured as daily fees with per diem allowances and overtime compensation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Boeing 777 aircraft on ACMI wet lease and charter operations
- Command international flights for passenger and cargo operations
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with EASA and company safety procedures
- Manage crew resource management and operational decisions

Requirements
- EASA Part FCL ATPL license
- Valid ME/IR rating
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Language Level 5 or higher
- Minimum 5000 total flight hours (or 6000 total with 4500 on medium to heavy turbo jet)
- Minimum 4500 hours on medium to heavy turbo jet aircraft
- Minimum 1500 hours as Commander (PIC)
- Last flight preferably within preceding 6 months
- Valid EU/UK Passport
- Non-Type-Rated candidates acceptable - type rating will be provided
