About This Role
Challenge Airlines (Challenge Air Cargo, CAC) Captain/Commander role on the Boeing 767, based in Luqa, Malta, under EASA regulation. The Commander holds full authority and responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight, the crew, the aircraft and its cargo.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Commander has the whole responsibility and Authority for the safe conduct of the flight, and the safety of the crew, the airplane, its cargo, and its supernumeraries.
- Determine and confirm aircraft airworthiness prior to flight, including review of ATL, MEL and CDL.
- Prior to take-off, ensure weather, runway condition and aerodrome operating minima permit a safe departure.
Requirements
- Holds a valid EASA Airline Transport Pilots License in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011
- Medical Certificate Class I
- Holds a valid Instrument Rating (IR)
- 000 hrs total time
- If Type Rated: 2.000 hours PIC on a medium/heavy jet
- 500 hrs on type as Commander or Boeing Heavy Jet. If Non-Type Rated: 6.000 hours total time
- 000 hours PIC on a medium/heavy jet.
