About This Role
Etihad Airways is recruiting an A330 Captain to lead flight and cabin crews, command one of the airline’s modern fleets, and uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain has ultimate authority for the safe, secure, and efficient operation of every flight and is responsible for the technical command of the aircraft, leadership of the crew, and Etihad’s professional standards. Duties include ensuring the safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft
- exercising full command from taxi-out through final engine shutdown
- leading the flight and cabin crew through sound decision-making and effective crew resource management
- operating efficiently and with environmental responsibility under company fuel and sustainability policies
- and delivering consistent on-time performance to support reliability and guest satisfaction.

Requirements
- Applicants must have at least 7,000 hours of total flying time, 2,500 PIC hours as commander, and 1,500 PIC hours on type.
- Candidates must have flown the A330 within the previous 12 months, hold an A330 type rating valid for at least two months at joining, and be current on the A330.
- An unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL and unrestricted and current Class 1 medical are required.
- Applicants must be under 59 years of age on the joining date.
- Current TRE/TRI experience is advantageous.
- English fluency, written and verbal, must be Level 4 or higher.
- Where hours were accumulated on flights with inflight relief, only 75% of the total hours counts toward the required minimum.
