About This Role
Vietjet Air is recruiting experienced A320/A321 Captains for their Flight Operations Division based in Vietnam. The airline operates a modern fleet and is seeking highly qualified pilots with command experience to join their growing team across multiple hubs including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Cam Ranh. Candidates must have a minimum of 4,000 total flight hours with 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command in multicrew operations and 500 hours PIC specifically on the A320F, along with a valid CAAV ATPL and current A320F type rating. This position offers the opportunity to operate modern aircraft in a dynamic Southeast Asian aviation market, with a contract period from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Formulate flight plans
- Conduct all pre-flight checks to ensure safety
- Communicate with air traffic control for landing and take-off requests and flight plan reporting
- Check cockpit instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Observe weather conditions, aircraft position, and air traffic during flight
- Request changes to flight plan if needed
- Collaborate with flight attendants to ensure passenger compliance with regulations
- File flight trip reports and aircraft status reports before and after landing
Requirements
- Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,500 hours PIC in multicrew operations
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on A320F (excluding PICUS hours)
- Valid CAAV ATPL license
- Current A320F Type Rating
- Certificate of Upset Recovery Training in Full Flight Simulator
- Valid Instrument Rating and Aircraft Rating
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Level 4 or higher
- Last flight on A320F within 12 months of application
- Maximum age 60 years (Male) or 55 years (Female)
- Letter of authentication from Civil Aviation Authority of CPL/ATPL country of origin
- Recommendation Letter or Release Letter from previous airlines
- Criminal Record check within 6 months (notarized by Vietnam embassy from country of origin)
- No history of Accident/Incident within 5 years
- Last 5 pages of logbook
- Passport with minimum 1-year validity
