About This Role
Jetstar Japan, part of the Qantas Group, is seeking experienced A320/A321 Captains (non-JCAB license holders) to join their operations based at Narita Airport. The airline operates a modern fleet of 19 A320ceo and 3 A321neo aircraft with world-class safety standards. Candidates must have a minimum of 4,000 total flight hours, 3,000 hours on jet aircraft, and 1,000 hours PIC on jet aircraft, plus A320 family type rating. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate A320/A321 aircraft on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Manage crew resource management procedures
- Ensure compliance with world-class safety standards
- Complete required flight documentation and reports

Requirements
- Valid ICAO ATPL with A320 family type rating (Frozen ATPL not accepted)
- Valid ICAO Class 1 aeronautical medical certificate
- Must meet JCAB Class 1 aeronautical medical standard
- ICAO Level 5 English language proficiency
- Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 3,000 hours on jet aircraft
- Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on jet aircraft
- Minimum 500 hours on A320 family
- JCAB ATPL requirement: Over 250 hours PIC OR Over 70 hours PIC and over 180 hours PICUS OR Over 500 hours PICUS
- Minimum 100 hours PIC cross-country
- Minimum 200 hours cross-country
- Minimum 100 hours night flight
- Minimum 75 hours instrument flight
- Strong team working competencies
- Commitment to service excellence
- Must be willing to undergo screening process in Japan for 3-5 days
