About This Role
Wizz Air, one of Europe's fastest-growing airlines, is recruiting experienced Captain pilots for their young Airbus A320 family fleet. The company operates across multiple European bases (Hungary, Malta, UK) with expansion plans to reach 500 aircraft and 100 million passengers by 2030. This Direct Entry Captain position requires unrestricted EU/UK work authorization, valid EASA/UK CAA ATPL or CPL, Class 1 Medical, and ICAO Level 4+ English. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Airbus A320 family aircraft on scheduled passenger routes
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Manage cockpit operations and crew resource management
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain flight logs and required documentation

Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL or CPL license (for EU/Malta bases) OR UK CAA ATPL/CPL (for UK base)
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate (EU/Malta) OR UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate (UK)
- ICAO English Level 4/5/6 proficiency
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU or specific countries (Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine) for EU/Malta bases
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom for UK base
- A320 family type rating
- Command experience on A320 family aircraft
- Previous PIC experience required
