About This Role
Tigerair Taiwan is seeking an experienced Captain for A320 family aircraft operations. The airline is a low-cost carrier operating scheduled services from its Taiwan base. Candidates must hold a valid ATPL with a minimum of 5,000 total jet flight hours including 1,000 hours PIC on type or similar jet aircraft (B737, MD80). ICAO English Level 4 proficiency and a current Class 1 Medical Certificate are required. The selection process includes document review, simulator assessment, interview, and medical examination.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate A320 family aircraft on scheduled services
- Conduct pre-flight checks and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
- Perform command responsibilities as Pilot in Command
Requirements
- Valid ATPL license
- Minimum 5,000 total jet flight hours
- Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on A320 or similar jet aircraft (B737, MD80)
- Current Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English proficiency Level 4 or above
- Latest Proficiency Check/Proficiency Training/Annual Line Check Report
- Reference from Chief Pilot (or similar) of last two employers
- Flight safety record issued by official organization and current airline
- No history of or convictions for substance abuse
- Acceptable to CAA for license conversion
- All claims must be substantiated with acceptable evidence and supporting documents
