About This Role
Airblue, a regional airline based in Islamabad, Pakistan, is seeking experienced A320 Family Captains for permanent positions. The airline operates a fleet of 12 aircraft with 3 on order, offering growth opportunities in the Pakistani aviation market. Candidates must have a minimum of 5,000 total flight hours with 1,000 hours PIC on transport jets/turboprops, a valid ATPL license, and Class 1 Medical certification. Type rating training is provided by the airline, and preference is given to pilots already type-rated or holding TRI/TRE and SFI/SFE endorsements. Visa sponsorship is not provided, so candidates must already have the right to work in Pakistan.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate A320 Family aircraft on scheduled airline routes
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Manage flight operations and ensure compliance with safety procedures
- Lead cockpit crew and coordinate with cabin crew
- Complete flight reports and required documentation
Requirements
- Valid ATPL license with PCA acceptance
- Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on Transport Jet/Turboprop aircraft MTOW Cat B or higher
- Minimum 1,000 hours turbine time
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must have right to work in Pakistan (no visa sponsorship provided)
- Type rating training will be provided
