About This Role
Air India is seeking a Cabin Services Trainer in Gurugram to provide comprehensive training and development for cabin crew members. The role supports ab initio and specialized training, monitors trainee readiness and development, and helps ensure that service, leadership, safety, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer-service standards are maintained. The trainer also contributes to curriculum development, coaching, operational feedback, training documentation, and the continuous improvement of cabin-service programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of cabin-crew training programs covering service and personality development, aligned with the airline's brand and customer-service standards. Track new joiners throughout the induction period, confirm that the required headcount is available for further training and flying operations, monitor trainee progress and readiness, coordinate performance follow-ups and developmental interventions, and provide regular guidance, welfare check-ins, and support throughout the training lifecycle. Assist with graduation and release activities so trainees can be deployed smoothly into operations.
- Organize Cabin Service training courses, including training materials, trainer guides, and logistics. Monitor trainee feedback, share structured recommendations to improve training modules, propose new initiatives, support adherence to cabin-crew standard operating procedures and aviation regulations, and conduct theoretical and practical training in accordance with the approved training structure. Maintain accurate attendance records, assessment results, training-session records, and other documentation, complete training-related administrative work on time, and support analysis of training impact through measurable crew-performance outcomes.
- Conduct onboard coaching, mentoring flights, and roadshows, while contributing to efficient and cost-effective training activities. Evaluate the effectiveness of ab initio and specialized programs through feedback, assessments, and performance monitoring. Maintain a comprehensive ab initio curriculum that reflects operational changes, incorporate industry best practices, service innovations, operational learning, and identified training needs into training content, and help develop engaging and interactive sessions that meet regulatory and customer-service standards.
- Coach and mentor newly inducted cabin crew, monitor their ab initio training journey, and foster a positive and inclusive cabin-crew culture. Conduct checks on cabin-crew accommodation and provide regular feedback on accommodation standards and quality. Contribute to training content, assessments, trainer guides, e-learning modules, and learning resources through assigned working groups
- support benchmarking visits, leadership walkarounds, and pilot deliveries of new or revised content
