About This Role
TUI Airways is recruiting Cabin Crew for its Summer 2027 operation based in Exeter. The role combines exceptional customer service and sales-through-service with strict adherence to safety, first-aid and onboard service procedures. Candidates must complete TUI training, meet the physical, swimming, language and regulatory requirements, and be available for a 24/7 flight programme with a 90-minute reporting time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cabin Crew members deliver exceptional customer service with a sales-through-service mindset, making customer satisfaction central to the role.
- Their primary responsibility is passenger safety, including implementing all safety, first-aid and service procedures and following them with discipline.
- The role requires confident communication, emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt communication styles to build relationships quickly with customers and colleagues.
- Crew members work collaboratively to deliver results, remain flexible during roster adjustments and onboard emergencies, master new technology, encourage colleagues to do the same, and continue developing their skills.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the new entrant course and able to reach 1.89 metres with bare feet flat on the floor.
- They must be able to perform all regulatory duties, including sitting in and fully fastening an aircraft over-shoulder jump-seat harness, swim at least 25 metres, and understand, speak and write good English equivalent to CEFR B2 or ILR L3.
- Candidates must be willing to undergo psychoactive testing and a UK CAA Cabin Crew Medical throughout employment, work shifts across a 24/7 flight programme, and report in uniform at their home base within 90 minutes.
- A valid UK or Irish passport with six months' validity and any necessary travel visas are required, along with successful background security checks and proof of required vaccinations.
- Candidates must also complete and pass TUI training in Safety, First Aid and Service.
