About This Role
TUI Airways is recruiting Cabin Crew for a fixed-term Summer 2027 position based in Belfast. The role combines exceptional customer service and sales-through-service with strict adherence to safety, first aid and onboard service procedures. Candidates must meet the specified reach, age, swimming, English-language, medical, passport and availability requirements, and be able to report to base within 90 minutes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As a Cabin Crew member, the successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service with a sales-through-service mindset, placing customer satisfaction at the centre of the role.
- The position prioritises passenger safety through the implementation of safety, first aid and service procedures, with disciplined compliance and a commitment to ongoing growth and development.
- Duties require confident communication, emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt communication style while building effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Cabin Crew must work collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, solve problems and remain composed under pressure.
- The role also requires flexibility in response to roster adjustments, onboard emergencies and new technology, while encouraging colleagues to adapt in the same way.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the new entrant course and able to reach 1.89 metres (6ft 2in) with bare feet flat on the floor.
- They must be able to perform all regulatory duties, including sitting in and fully fastening an aircraft over-shoulder jump-seat harness, and must be able to swim at least 25 metres.
- Candidates must be willing to undertake Psychoactive Testing and a UK CAA Cabin Crew Medical throughout employment.
- Good English equivalent to CEFR B2 or ILR L3 is required.
- Applicants must be able to work shifts across a 24/7 flight programme, report in uniform at their home base within 90 minutes, and hold a valid UK or Irish passport with six months' validity plus any necessary visas for travel.
- Successful candidates must undergo background security checks with positive results required and provide proof of required vaccinations in line with company and regulatory guidelines.
