Duties & Responsibilities
- Working as a Wizz Air flight attendant involves focusing on both safety and customer care, performing onboard and ground duties in compliance with company policies, managing in-flight sales and cash handling, welcoming passengers with a smile, and assisting them during the flight.
- Cabin crew are expected to act according to Wizz Air's values of dedication, inclusivity, positivity, and integrity, and to become part of a team of more than 7,000 aviation enthusiasts.
- The posting also states that successful candidates will be contracted and paid from the first day of training.
Requirements
- Candidates must be aged 18 or over, have an arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes, and hold at least a high school degree, GCSE result, or equivalent.
- They must be fluent in written and spoken English, have a valid passport without limitations with a minimum of six months' validity, be able to swim, and have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom through a British passport, visa, pre-settlement status, or settlement status.
- Candidates must live within 90 minutes of their chosen base or be ready to move there and make the journey required by their work schedule.
- They must not have tattoos or piercings on body parts visible when wearing uniform and should be enthusiastic and comfortable working with people.
- Successful candidates will also need to obtain a Schengen visa where applicable.
- Candidates wearing glasses or contact lenses with a prescription above +4 or below -4 are unlikely to pass the mandatory medical examination.
- For the recruitment day, candidates must arrive sharply on time, be prepared for a process lasting until late afternoon, bring their passport and relevant Visa, Pre-Settlement, or Settlement Status Share Code, and bring an updated English CV with an ID photo.
- They should wear smart business attire with professional hair, makeup, and accessories where applicable, avoiding jeans, short skirts, or an untidy appearance.
