About This Role
German Airways is hiring an experienced Cabin Crew Member for a full-time, permanent position based at Cologne/Bonn (CGN). The role combines flight safety, high-quality passenger service, coordinated cabin operations and professional representation of the airline. Successful employees may progress to Senior Cabin Crew Member, subject to suitability and performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and protect passenger wellbeing throughout the flight.
- Provide professional, attentive and courteous passenger service from boarding through arrival.
- Coordinate smooth cabin procedures and a structured service process, including in demanding situations.
- Act as a competent and friendly point of contact for passengers and represent German Airways and its service standards convincingly.
- Work closely with fellow crew members and actively support a professional, reliable and respectful team environment.
- Subject to suitability and performance, take on responsibility through timely development toward Senior Cabin Crew Member.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid Cabin Crew Attestation under EASA regulations, professional experience as a Cabin Crew Member, a valid aviation medical certificate, a negative drug screening, a valid security reliability check, the required instruction under Section 42 of the German Infection Protection Act, and valid hygiene training under Regulation (EC) No.
- 852/2004.
- Candidates must be at least 19 years old and at least 160 cm tall, have very good German and business-fluent English, and be reachable from the Cologne/Bonn base within 90 minutes, including for standby duties.
- The role also requires flexibility regarding working hours and operating locations, strong commitment, resilience, service orientation, good IT skills, access to a mobile phone and PC, an unrestricted passport, and— for non-EU citizens— a valid residence and work permit.
- A polished professional appearance, a positive presence, teamwork, social competence and enjoyment of working with people are expected.
