About This Role
Jet2.com is recruiting Cabin Crew for its London Stansted Airport base to deliver safe, secure and enjoyable journeys alongside the company's award-winning customer service. The full-time fixed-term, rostered role runs until the end of the Summer Season in November 2027, with potential to return for Summer 2028, and requires availability for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, peak holiday periods and changing weekly rosters. Colleagues receive OTE of £35,200+ pro rata for the contract length, a four-week CAA Approved paid training course, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays discounts, a contributory pension, life assurance worth three times annual salary, 37 days' annual leave pro rata including Bank Holidays, family assistance and potential progression into senior and training roles. Previous Cabin Crew experience is not required, but applicants must meet the stated passport, history, screening, medical, safety, reach and mobility requirements and be able to travel reliably to their base.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As a member of the Cabin Crew team, the successful candidate will ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of customers and colleagues on every flight
- deliver award-winning customer service and create memorable onboard experiences
- support customers with a wide range of needs by providing first aid and general assistance
- promote and sell onboard products with confidence
- work closely with Cabin Crew and Flight Deck colleagues to deliver a safe and efficient operation
- and adhere to all company procedures, regulatory requirements and safety standards. Safety is Jet2.com's number one priority, and the role is focused on delivering a safe, secure and enjoyable journey while providing the company's award-winning service.
Requirements
- Previous Cabin Crew experience is not required. Jet2.com is looking for people who put safety first, enjoy helping others and delivering excellent customer service, communicate confidently and professionally, remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment, take pride in their presentation and professionalism, work collaboratively as part of a team, are comfortable promoting and selling onboard products, and demonstrate resilience, accountability and a positive attitude.
- The role is available on full-time Fixed Term contracts until the end of the Summer Season in November 2027, with the potential to return for Summer 2028. Applicants must be comfortable working in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation with very early mornings, late evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, peak holiday periods and variable rosters that change week to week.
- To be eligible, applicants must hold a valid UK/EU passport with the required validity, provide a full 5-year employment, education or activity history, successfully pass pre-employment referencing and criminal record checks, comply with all applicable medical, health and safety requirements, continually be able to fasten the safety harness for the Crew Jump Seat, meet the required reach and mobility standards, and travel reliably to and from the airport base for all rostered shifts. Only one Cabin Crew application is permitted per recruitment season, and applicants should apply only for the airport from which they wish to be based.
