About This Role
Fly Jinnah is recruiting Cabin Crew based in Islamabad, Pakistan to serve routes including Gilgit and Hunza on a contract basis. The role acts as the airline's ambassador, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle, from pre-flight safety checks and briefings to boarding, in-flight service and post-flight reporting. Crew also promote on-board sales and the 'Charity Cloud' program and support the Cabin Supervisor and Captain, stepping into the Cabin Supervisor role when designated. Fresh graduates are welcome, with prior cabin crew, customer service or hospitality experience treated as an added advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the airline's ambassador, promoting a positive corporate image and enhancing the overall customer experience while providing excellent customer service and ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the complete flight cycle.
- Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness and legality for assigned flights and attend briefings covering flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks and boarding.
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures, identify safety and security risks and work with the Cabin Supervisor on remedial action per SOPs, administer first aid where necessary and promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew and Captain.
- Welcome passengers, assist with boarding formalities and enter required data into the aircraft logbook per Airline and Civil Aviation Authority procedures, attending to individual pre-bookings, requests and needs and assisting passengers in distress.
- Maximize on-board revenue and the 'Charity Cloud' program by promoting on-board meals, products and charity services to meet sales targets, and securely handle cash and credit-card payments.
- Carry out pre-flight checks of supplies and emergency and catering equipment, report deficiencies, ensure the cabin is cleaned and re-catered at transit stations, manage orderly handovers, and complete post-flight briefings and assessment reports including evaluating the Cabin Supervisor and sealing duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carry out Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain, maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent and emergency training and a current licence, and contribute to team results and allocated sales targets.
Requirements
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable
- a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus. Training in First Aid and Safety and Emergency Procedures is an added value. Candidates must be fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases, and be medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties. Age between 20-29 for non-experienced crew and up to 33 years for experienced crew. Minimum height of 160 cm for females and 170 cm for males, with weight in proportion to age and height. Clear skin with no marks or tattoos visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform. Must be able to swim with the aid of a flotation device. Fluent in English
- other languages are an advantage based on airline requirements. Presentable, friendly, customer-service oriented and able to stay positive under stress and handle difficult passengers. Very good verbal and written communication, excellent time-management and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. - previous cabin crew or customer service experience in airline, aviation or hospitality is an added value, and an active cabin crew licence is an advantage.
