About This Role
Norwegian is recruiting permanent Cabin Crew Members for its Bergen base. The role combines passenger service, safety, security and emergency responsibilities, requiring calm decision-making, teamwork and flexibility across 24/7 rotating shifts. Duties & Responsibilities
- Cabin Crew Members create a safe and memorable passenger experience while handling a wide range of situations in flight.
- The role requires providing outstanding service, staying calm under pressure, thinking on your feet, working positively with colleagues and taking on safety, security and passenger-care responsibilities.
- Employees must be prepared for long days, shift work, weekends, public holidays and rotating 24/7 schedules covering early mornings, late nights and peak periods.
- The position involves more than 150 days of travel.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a clean criminal record, a valid medical certificate or the ability to obtain one, a valid work permit for the country of application, and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test before hiring.
- Candidates must be over 20 years old, above 160 cm or able to reach 210 cm on tiptoes, able to swim, and fluent in written and spoken English.
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language, a Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA), and completed upper secondary school or equivalent education are preferred.
- Relevant service-profession experience may in some cases compensate for completed schooling.
- Candidates must live within 90 minutes of the base or be willing to relocate, and must comply with the stated tattoo restrictions.
- Successful candidates must obtain an approved medical certificate and background check and complete the training course.
