About This Role
The Captain – Citation Mustang serves as Pilot-in-Command for all Cessna Citation Mustang operations in a private jet operator’s fleet, supporting both aircraft-owner flying and on-demand private charter. The position combines exceptional airmanship, customer service, and operational discipline with safe, efficient, professional flight operations and representation of the company’s brand and values. It also encompasses detailed flight planning, regulatory and company-procedure compliance, safety-management-system participation, aircraft oversight, crew resource management, and post-flight reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain exercises full authority and responsibility for safe aircraft operation in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulations. Flight-planning duties include pre-flight weather analysis, performance calculations, fuel planning, and route selection. For owner operations, the Captain provides personalized, discreet, professional service and adapts to owners’ preferences and schedules
- for charter operations, the Captain delivers a premium passenger experience focused on comfort, safety, and exceptional service. The Captain maintains strict adherence to EASA/FAA/San Marino regulations, company SOPs, and safety management systems, oversees aircraft condition, coordinates maintenance, and ensures accurate technical-log entries. Additional responsibilities include strong CRM, a polished and welcoming passenger presence, and completion of post-flight documentation, safety reports, and operational feedback.
Requirements
- The qualifications emphasize owner-focused flying experience with private owners or UHNWI clients, along with familiarity with charter operations involving dynamic schedules and short-notice missions.
- The posting requires a minimum of 2000 hours total flight time and a minimum of 750 hours of command time.
