About This Role
Airbus India is seeking a C295 Test Pilot to prepare, conduct and report flight testing at the C295 Final Assembly Line in Vadodara, India. The role is responsible for maintaining flight safety during local and detached operations, conducting ground and flight tests, coordinating with Airbus Defence and Space test-pilot leadership, and supporting flight dispatch, scheduling and operational coordination with the Final Assembly Line, airport authorities, the Indian Air Force and air-traffic authorities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Test Pilot will monitor and ensure the safety of Airbus flight operations from Vadodara and during detachments from the base.
- Responsibilities include performing ground and flight tests on the C295, acting as the local link with the Airbus DS Chief Test Pilot, managing flight dispatch activities such as flight plans, weather information and NOTAMs, and implementing Airbus DS policies and procedures relevant to local operations.
- The role must assure flight safety and flight operations, coordinate local flight scheduling, and manage local coordination with the Final Assembly Line, flight-line personnel, airport authorities, the Indian Air Force and air-traffic authorities.

Requirements
- Applicants should have English-language proficiency equivalent to Level 5, be an EASA Test Pilot Graduate or hold an equivalent qualification, and be a C295-qualified captain.
- The posting also seeks experience or capability in Technical Logbook management and configuration control, together with leadership and communication skills.
- Occasional travel is required, including travel to Spain during the training period.
