About This Role
CAE is recruiting an experienced ex-military pilot as a C-130 Pilot Instructor to deliver simulator-based training at RAAF Base Amberley, just outside Brisbane, Australia, with full relocation support and a work visa provided. The instructor reports to the C-130 Key Account Manager and Lead Instructor and supports the Spartan Pilot Initial Qualification (PIQ) Course and advanced training programmes, teaching C-130 pilot students on a new, state-of-the-art Flight Training Device. CAE is looking for joiners in 2027 and 2028.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Report to the C-130 Key Account Manager and Lead Instructor, supporting the Spartan Pilot Initial Qualification (PIQ) Course and advanced training programmes.
- Deliver engaging mission briefs and debriefs, and provide hands-on simulator instruction to C-130 pilot students on a brand-new, state-of-the-art Flight Training Device.
- Collaborate with simulator maintenance teams to keep training equipment performing at its best, and help develop and continuously improve training materials so the syllabus stays current.

Requirements
- Applicants must be experienced ex-military pilots who have flown and instructed on the C-130.
- For security-clearance reasons, candidates must be nationals of the United Kingdom, United States, or Canada.
- CAE is recruiting for start dates in 2027 and 2028.
