About This Role
Captain (PIC) on the Boeing 757 for Kalitta Charters II, a supplemental Part 121 narrow-body freighter operator based in Ypsilanti, MI (KYIP). Cargo-focused on-demand and scheduled operations with a 13-on/10-off rotation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) and In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) of the flight
- carry out flight duties per the Standard Operating Procedures
- provide safe navigation maintaining a continuous and independent check on geographical position and terrain clearance
- conduct the flight in compliance with the current flight plan. Operations conducted under part 121 of the U.S. FARs.
Requirements
- FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Total Time: 3,000+ hours total flight time preferred.
- PIC Time: 1,000+ hours of Part 121 multi-engine jet PIC time.
- Type Rating: B757/767 Type Rating preferred (Highly qualified Captains without a type rating with Part 121 command experience may be considered).
- Valid, unrestricted U.S.
- Passport & Driver's License.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Must meet FAR Part 121 age requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
